Moriah J. Wilkins is currently a Senior Fair Housing Attorney at Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia (HOME of VA) based in Richmond, VA where she investigates, litigates, mediates, and conciliates instances of housing discrimination across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Moriah received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law where she was a Public Interest Law Scholar. During her time in law school, Moriah interned for a state housing agency, a Federal magistrate judge, a legal aid organization, as well as private public interest law firm that specializes in affordable housing transactions. Moriah was a Skadden Public Interest fellow and did a two-year fellowship at the Legal Aid Justice Center with an advocacy focus on the intersection of housing and racial justice in Charlottesville, VA. Moriah focused on assisting Charlottesville residents in public housing redevelopment, zoning ordinance advocacy, housing vouchers, and more .
