Jamie earned her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. Since graduating, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families through work in Developmental Disability Services, Mental Health Services, and Brain Injury Services, including roles with community-based providers and local county government offices. She currently serves as the DD Community Resource Navigator with The Arc of Northern Virginia, where she helps individuals and families connect with resources, navigate community-based services, and better understand available supports. She also facilitates a support group, creating opportunities for families to connect, share experiences, and build community. With more than a decade of experience in the human services field, Jamie brings a compassionate, resource-focused perspective to her work and is passionate about empowering individuals and families to access the support they need to thrive.
