Andrea Nannery, RDN, SNS, serves as the School Nutrition Programs Coordinator for the Virginia Department of Education’s Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs. In this role, she oversees the administration of the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Afterschool Snack Program, and the Seamless Summer Option across the Commonwealth. A registered dietitian and mom of three, Andrea is passionate about helping children establish healthy eating habits that set the foundation for a lifetime of wellness. She holds the School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) credential from the School Nutrition Association and brings over 11 years of experience working with USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
