Meredith Ledlie Johnson is the Policy, Systems and Environmental Change Programming Manager for Virginia Cooperative Extension’s Family Nutrition Program. The Family Nutrition Program’s PSE work is designed to ensure that all Virginians have access to enough healthy, culturally appropriate food in their communities. She holds a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in community organizing from Hunter College, CUNY. Ledlie Johnson has served as the Secretary for the Virginia Farmers Market Association for 8 years, and designed VAFMA’s Market Manager Certification courses. Before living in Virginia, Ledlie Johnson worked as a farmers market manager and as an urban park advocate.
