Alexandra Lewin-Zwerdling, PhD, MPA, is the Owner of Fruitful, LLC, a food and nutrition consulting business in Washington, DC. With over 20 years of experience working with nonprofits, food companies, member associations and the United States Department of Agriculture, Alexandra specializes in the intersection of consumer insights, communications and public affairs. Some of her current clients include The Aspen Institute, The Morningstar Foundation, DC Greens and The Root Cause Coalition. In addition to her consulting business, Alexandra is also an adjunct professor at George Washington University teaching Introduction to Food Policy. Prior to Fruitful LLC, Alexandra served as the Vice President, Research & Partnerships at IFIC. She holds a PhD in Nutrition and a Masters in Public Administration, both from Cornell University.
