Charlene Reilly is the Education and Outreach Manager for the Virginia Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (VJLAP). Before joining VJLAP, Charlene worked as regulatory compliance counsel focusing on consumer finance matters for a national mortgage loan subservicer and a Virginia banking institution. Having practiced law for almost 20 years, Charlene understands the occupational risks associated with the legal profession and is dedicated to helping educate the profession and breaking the stigma and fear associated with addiction and mental health issues within the legal community.
Charlene is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Washington, DC. Charlene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1998), a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University (1999) and a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law (2003).
When Charlene is not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with and having fun with her three amazing children and husband in Virginia Beach, VA, exercising, reading, and cooking.
