Ashley Kempczynski, Esq. is the Alexandria Managing Attorney and VOCA Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV), where she primarily represents survivors of domestic violence in family law matters such as protective order, custody, visitation, and support cases in the Alexandria courts. Since May 2024, Ashley has also served as Substitute Judge for the General District Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of the Eighteenth Judicial District of Virginia. Prior to starting at LSNV in 2016, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Marisa J. Demeo of the DC Superior Court, working on the protective order and general civil dockets. Ashley graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015. At Georgetown Law, she participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic and represented clients in protective order matters in the DC Superior Court. Ashley graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2012 with a B.A. in Psychology and Government, focusing on child development. In 2024, Ashley was recognized by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as one of its 40 Under 40.
