Dr. Kader Gümüş is an independent consultant, public advocate, and speaker with over 15 years of experience in leadership roles within government, community engagement, and systems change. Her doctoral research, Journey to Well-Being: An Exploration of Thrivership Post-Domestic Violence, examines how survivors heal and thrive after abuse and calls for trauma-informed support systems. Since 2019, she has served as an appointed council member on the Fairfax County Council to End Domestic Violence (CEDV). She is also an honorary council member of The Women’s Center in Northern Virginia. Dr. Gümüş utilizes her voice to advocate for survivor-centered policy, organizational transformation, and holistic well-being.
