I have been an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) since 2016. I received both my Master’s in Clinical Social Work and my Post Baccalaureate Graduate Certificate in Aging Studies from VCU in 2011. My initial passion in the field was around working older adults and their caregivers, but with time my experience became more focused on working with adults/families living with complex chronic illness.
I am currently the Care Coordination Ambulatory Social Work Manager. While I’ve been at VCU Health for about 13 years now, I’ve been in this management capacity for about 4 years. My team consists of MSW’s and LCSW’s who work in both pediatrics and with adults, across primary care, medicine specialties, oncology, and transplant.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, family and friends, as well as being outside, cooking, gardening, and hanging out with our dog, Lucky.
