After a rewarding career in hospital management and an equally inspiring period of self employment, I am grateful for the opportunity to work in the non profit field as a Long Term Care Ombudsman. My interest lies with social entrepreneurial organizations and community based groups that are developing innovative solutions to social problems. My management style is results oriented, most often gathering and synthesizing information, drawing conclusions, and designing steps to solve problems. I am able to use the skills I have developed through my years of professional employment. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them find resolution to their varying situations. I find it particularly satisfying to work together with others for a specific improvement.
