Sadie Powell was born in Texas but spent most of her childhood in Eastern North Carolina. She earned her Associate's degree from Louisburg College, where she was also a soccer player. Sadie then transferred to UNC Charlotte, where she completed her undergraduate studies. Following graduation, she spent eight years working in the finance industry with Wachovia and First Citizens Bank.
During her time in Charlotte, Sadie met and fell in love with Blanche’s son, a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune.
Now residing in Northern Virginia with her husband and their two children, Sadie enjoys spending her free time at the beach or the lake with her family.
